well, not so hot finishes on turf translated into some nice races for perfect drift...wilco earned some money last year, unless he's absolutely hitting the breaks, i don't see a need to retire him just yet.

I hear ya Danzig, but his last few dirt starts resulted in 23+ length defeats. Tough to have much confidence going forward.

He was never very good on the turf -- what was he before the BC, maybe 1 or 2 for 13 or something like that?

I haven't seen the race, but I wasn't too worried about him today anyway, didn't love the grass idea for wagering anyway.

Nobody in the history of gambling has lost more money on any one horse as I have lost on Wilco. I refuse to even spell his name like he wanted it to be spelled.
