Default Gulfstream 2-10

Race 1: short field, won't get much in the way of odds but, 3 Holy Intentions, has the best pattern, coming off a 3 pt top 8 in 2nd start as 4 yr old, can pair or move forward. 6 Tougher N Most, bounced on short rest in last while wide, maybe improves today. Don't know what to do with 7 Riggins, year layoff and vet scratch 3 weeks ago?

Race 2: Mostly firsters, the 2 that have run, 3 Media City has very solid line, nice spacing, should run well. 5 Open Sleigh, Pletcher who ran with the rail bias in first start, may regress here.

Race 3: 1 Fleet Valid, long layoff, last race was TG 1, they say the best time to play ouchy horses is 1st or 2nd off layoff, these horses always perplex me. 3 Tour of the Cat, nice spacing, very fast, although best races at Delaware, fits with these. 5 Bucharest, makes first Florida start, nice spacing and figs that are competitive.

Race 4: 2 Vicarian, fastest in here off last (which was against the bias) 4 weeks should be enough recovery time. 1 Red Missile ran well in debut, 5 Stalwart Woodsman was well thought of in debut from 12 post, should improve here. What to do with 5 Marchfield, two poly starts at Woodbine? 6 Mashala made big jump up in last, has 9 weeks recovery time, could be dangerous.

Race 5: This is a very evenly matched race, 7 Sinkwich ran great 1st turf in last, can win but doesn't stand out. 5 Lord Robyn, has competitive turf figs, ran big in slop 5 weeks ago. 6 British Attitude ran best # in the race 3 weeks ago, may react to that.

Race 6: I see Scav does not like 2 Street Magician. He makes valid points, but while this horse comes back quickly (too quickly?) he did run against the bias from the outside post in debut, moves inside here, may run away and never look back.

Race 7: 1 Dream Rush, we all know the trip in last, can she beat 4 Dreamin of Ana with a cleaner trip? Not sure. 6 You Asked is lightly raced and fast.

Race 8: 4 Stormy Roman, has all the back class, ran a good one with a difficult trip 5 weeks ago, repeat of that wins! Catalano on ATRAB said 11 Omaggio is ready to run. 9 I'mroyallymecke'd has run competitive figs, if you throw out last and ignore unknown jock, maybe hits board at a big price?

Race 9: 2 Meditations, last 2 #'s are 3, 5, either one wins this, comes in well rested. I realize Cornelio took 1 Lisa M over the 8 High Again, but High Again is faster coming in, solid pattern, could be cold exacta.

Race 10: Basically every horse in this race runs within 1 or 2 TG points of each other, this being the case, your probably better off going with a price... odds will tell. If 3 Victory Blue takes to the turf, could be live at a big price. 9 Red Stag has a nice pattern.. 5 Patriotic American would be no surprise.

As always, good luck to all.

Default Be careful in the 4th today

In his first race, Stalwart Woodsman opened up at 3/5 in a MSW race that was late in the card, I remember this because I was alive to a $10 pick three ticket that was paying $100 per $1. I was like 'what the hell is that', horse was obviously LIVE as can be and he ran decent. The kicker to this is in that race he was suppose to be first time lasix, but they announced with like 14MTP that he didn't get the shot in time so no lasix was given. thus, his odds drifted up. Today is a real tough race, but to me, he is a must use in pick threes, in any leg you want to put him in (1st/2nd/3rd)

I like Lisa M today -- probably a waste, but think she's got a shot. Why not give her one more chance!?
