Kentucky Horse Park trip

Do go see see John Henry and Cigar. JH is as old as Methuselah, amazing horse. Hopefully he's still kicking when you go because they were pampering him pretty good when I was there last. Food in all corners of the barn, all kinds of soft treats that his old teeth could handle.

Is this year when they are doing the Equestrian Games at the Horse Park or is that in 2008? Maybe it's even 2009 or 2010. Anyway, one of these days, they're going to have that there which would be very cool to see.

Aside from this, get off the horse park and schedule yourself one of the horse farm tours. Also, the thoroughbred training center. Claiborne is just a few miles up the road in Paris, but you need to make an appointment to get a tour there. As a rule of thumb, all farm tours are by appointment only.
