When jazil was used down the back stretch, i was surprised , could this have been a workout within the race.

The pace was too slow---and his main rivals in the betting, Corinthian and King of Jazz were sitting 1-2 up on that soft pace---in a better tactical spot.

Jazil didn't get the pace he needs.....

People forget---that not only was the Belmont 12 furlongs---but that race totally collapsed. Jazil won that from last place, and the horses who raced 1, 2, 3, 4 early on---all went too fast, and would up finishing like 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Funny thing about those Grade 1 races is that the pace is gunna be a bit more honest than some of these allowance races.You might not be able to go a 47 half without somebody looking you right in the eye.No,they aren't allowance races.

He moved to the leaders because he was loaded. The problem was the winner was twice the horse. No question about the better horse here fellas. He could move anytime and still gets beat by 10 there.

didnt matter when jazil moved. corinithian was ultra sharp from gate to wire and absolutely embarrassed jazil who hada race under his belt this year. jara probaly felt when he moved and ran up on the leaders im gonna draw off by 10, lol well he got drawn off on by 10................very impressive!
