Of course, the california jockey colony ain't what it used to be and he still is heads and shoulders above anyone else there in terms of ability....
Still like many have said, he seems to not bring in those odds on horses as much as he probably should.

The rails are down and the turns are tight at Santa Anita and a inside hole should of opened. The winner was able to handle the tight turns and the hole never opened up. Gomez was in the right spot 9times out of 10.
