![]() I think his 4 weeks off is just about right. I have never been a huge BD fan, but I think the Haskell could be a good spot for him. He had some bad racing luck in the TC races, and I don't think he needed a HUGE layoff.
They got him some rest, and they won't have to rush his training for the Haskell. The race is 9f which will probably end up being his best distance, and depending on who goes here, and who goes in the Jim Dandy, I think he has a legitimate shot at winning it. |

![]() I think he should stay in Cali. There are plenty of races out there for him. Baffert is the best in shipping from Cali to other tracks. Derek could beat up on Point Determined and AP Warrior all year until the classic. Why ship this horse.
