![]() It was probably mostly the horse, usually is, but his riding is just bad. Too bad as ten years ago when I wintered there he rode well. The injuries probably took their toll.

![]() I also liked Spider Power on Sunday but resisted the temptation to play the race, mostly because I was broke. He seemed to give the horse a pretty decent chance to win in that race, at least in my opinion.
The biggest bet I have ever made in my life was on a horse he rode and won on. |
