I mean, im not trying to make this into a pissing contest but I have been going to charles town since '93 and if you enter charles town from the front stretch you will see a sign that says "welcome to Ranson" probably 50 ft from the parking garage/barns. I have a pretty good idea of what you’re alluding to when you say there are some interesting things in Ranson ![]() -bt- |

![]() I'm with slotdirt on this one...it's called Charles Town Races & Slots for a reason....and obviously Ranson is very close by. There are a thousand signs that say "Charles Town" & the address of the track is Charles Town by every source. Anyway, like you said...nothin' to get in a p'in contest over.

![]() this bill has been tried before and has failed....it chances of passing are now greatly improved becausde people are scared that PA slots with steal 50% of their revenue. the only plates in wheeling and mountaneer are ohio/pa plates. ive been 2 both wheeling island (dogs) and MTR (horses). wheeling is a dump imo. mtr is okay. whoever mentioned the median age of casino patrons is right.....its gotta be about 65. i go for wv derby day and if im passing through wheeling. if they brought tables in i would definetly attend more.
