Yes, but she couldn't get by one of my favorites, Bounding Basque ( with Tony " never knew the rail " Graell ), in that Brooklyn.

I thought of mentioning her as well. She was a fine horse.

I haven't seen that race...if you know of anywhere that I can I would appreciate it...since I was 9 when she ran in it

thanks guys.. i as chatting to a lad at leopardstown and fillies and mares against colts on dirt somehow came up in our conversation (at a national hunt meeting!). I couldn't think of any recent filly/mare who regularly raced and beat the colts on dirt..

If you make it to Saratoga this summer let me know, I'll try to find someone who can copy over the video's I have of Life's Magic and Silky Sullivan for you since I have both. Horrible copies since they are VHS though.

that would be great...I am there every weekend...unless I work the sale, then I'll be there for the first week only.
