For a jockey, Bailey was as big a student of the game as anyone. The vast majority of jockies are mongoloid's who habitually under prepare and repeat the same mistakes over and over. To Bailey's credit---he was the very rare jockey who had developed handicapping skills...and almost always seemed well prepared. To make him out to be an authority on handicapping---as his DVD ads do--that's a little bit comical. However, he was just about as good as jockies get...and I also think he does a pretty good job as a broadcaster. Last edited by The Indomitable DrugS : 01-24-2007 at 11:04 AM. |
