Since you mentioned harness and Cleveland, I'll submit that anyone who is addled enough to bet harness races for more than...say $10 a race.....should avoid at all costs any track that anyone named Irvine drives, trains or sells beer in a concession.
That's "beer." "B-E-E-R." Not, "B-I-E-R." As in Art. That's an old Cleveland joke. All of 'em. |

2005, Jose Lezcano at Monmouth. Wound up 5th, I believe, in his first season there and consistently moved horses up.
Lezcano is a very strong finisher and, at just 21 years old, is one of the very best younger jockeys around. A couple more years and he'll be seasoned enough to ride with the best consistently. By the time he's 25, he'll be one of the top 10 jocks in the country, IMO. |

Lezcano is a good one. I also was all over him a Mth last year.
