In fact, I predict he'll be another Cigar, only in reverse, setting a winning streak on the grass that will be unbeaten for many years. But then, I've got a sentimental spot for old geldings. Geez...I wonder what my shrink will have to say about that statement.

Funny Cide is the reason I began to follow news in racing again after not caring for a couple of years.....

He was just warming up last year. This year he'll really show what he's made of! (I realize I'm disillusioned but I don't care!)

What were Funny Cide's final earnings last year? Didn't he manage to still make a couple hundred thousand?

I think he needs to race more often.

He ran 9 times last year. Nowadays that's a loaded schedule. I do think he could handle 12 races a year however pretty easily.

I agree that he can handle 12 races a year. I think 12-14 is doable for this horse. He is sound and I think that might get him interested again. I also agree that 9 is loaded. But I think he would be better served with even more racing.

yes, he earned over 200,000 last year. All horses should be so lucky!! Good race horse.
