Take a flier?...I love Stream Cat in this spot....

..Showing Up is the best horse but turf and the rail draw are big questions, so why take the underlayed odds?

..Also, Michael Lewis obviously has a lot of quality and can definately factor from just off the pace...

..Roman Dynasty is VERY intriguing for Pletcher as a Theatrical trying the grass for the first time...I think this horse overtakes Kip Deville and proved to be the best speed but I love Stream Cat's closing turn of foot on grass...think the black colt proves best late..I don't care for Rock Lobster or Go Between....the Atticus Marty Wolfson colt is interesting to me too, but I just don't think he is as good as Stream Cat...Outperformance beat a very solid Hill Prince but I don't like the 2-week turn-around....Chin High is a one-hit wonder and Yate's Black Cat is okay but maybe too slow IMO...the rest don't fit in the race..

Early Selections:

(1) Stream Cat
(2) Lewis Michael
(3) Roman Dynasty

Stream Cat is hardly a flier and will be one of the favorites. Frenchy likes to get his dirty hands on those big purses. I caught this horse nicely last summer at Saratoga.

I would think Stream Cat would be the favorite with Showing Up a close second. Either way with 14 horses you would think 3-1 or better for the favorite. Excellent betting race. Almost like the ones from England.

Just off the phone with the man.. the legend.. Gary Sciacca.. DO NOT dismiss his reformed claimer (nabbed for just $16k) Prime Diamond from this tough, diverse group... At least in your exotics...

"A different horse when I put him on the grass", said Gary. "We were gonna get rid of him and he wins that claimer and then crushed in the NY allowance. He's training GREAT..."

Prime Diamond gets Dominguez, under whom he earned his diploma, and has won on firm and yielding... Gets a pace to close into, should appreciate the added the ground, and will be boxcars...

This might be an appropriate time for the Mrs. Londons story.

I think Prime Diamond may find these just a little tougher than Decourcey.

It's really not that much of a story....and certainly not in the league of the other one.
