At the time,I wanted to ask why you went with the 3 horse versus taking the 6 or 7 horse(in the 6th race---for your 2nd horse in that race.)

ROOT,I got a question. If I came on here(last Night) running my mouth about Tontine,do you think you may have used him,or were you pretty much set in like cement(with Brooker.)

yes, I absolutly would have used Tontine if you had a strong opinion with some sort of angle or factual data.....(ie something other then gut feel). I respect yours, and most on here, thoughts amd capping skills. That is the best part about this board, we pick up on things that the others miss. I feel we all have strenghts and weaknesses when we evaluate a race, and any time you have open discussions it allows you to re-evaluate your initial thoughts. I was not sold on Brooker, as I stated, just went with who I thought would have a good trip stalking.

In other words, SPEAK UP SCUDS!!!!

I like rush, rush.......I thought the exact same thing about Seminole Native, CNak would be up if she was her old self here. Also, Gomez would be up on Peter Miller's horse Valid Mecke unless he really liked Rush Rush. Although, I would think you would have to consider using Frankles import also, there are a few quick 5f drills for old Bobby.

Any thoughts on the 8th?

The maiden win was in slop.Wow....Morning line 8/5 against multiple winners, and all he has is a maiden win in the slop?I don't care if Jesus Christ trains him,or Frankel licks his nuts.I ain't playing that one.

Sorry it took awhile to answer you this evening and furthermore this is probably the place where I lose whatever rspect you have for my limited knowlege and ability here.

When I am doing a race there is a portion of the selections that is nothing more than pure math and stats that has nothing to do with the horse.

I used the 3 rather than 6 or 7 because a computer program I use that puts a value for the sheet number/workout numbers/PP wins for the meet/surface/route and sprint filters. The 3 had a better total number than the next selection the 7. I was trying to keep the ticket at $200 or so and thats where I drew the line unfortunately

The program has been good to me the last year. It gave me Bernadini/Sweet exacta last May to name just one other.....

It didn't work out here but it had 5 winners the last two days at SA so it does have some usefulness here.

Like everyone else we are looking for the formula each and every day. Is it 3 or 4 parts horse, 1 or 2 parts pedigree,2 parts trainer and 1 part jock today or something different.

So after putting 5 hours off and on into the card last night and finally geting it to taste just right tonight it's time to turn the page and look at tomorrow....night scuds.

Any system that gives you both Milltown road, and that TANG horse is doing you good.To me,those two were hard(not the 1st out with Hofmans horse in the 6th.)

Race 6

Igraine(15/1 ML): There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Flores guns this horse from the gate and tries to go gate to wire at LONG odds. Minimal speed in this race and Flores might put them to sleep. Working well for a very capable trainer. Sherreff's nut horse looks good but boxing with Igraine could prove PROFITABLE.
Excellent call. Thanks.
