Bag (won his first start in 1:08 4/5 I believe) Arazi (most mismanaged horse ever; would have gone down as an all-time great) Dehere, Event of the Year, King Glorious, Java Gold, Dinard (all horses that I felt would have been Derby winners if not forced to miss the race do to injury or illness)

Dehere went on to be a very good sire down here so im not suprised he was in the mix for the derby.

Also, the campaigns of our two high profile ladies last year. You all know who I mean. I really found it hard to decide which frustrated me more so I'll just say both. Then the 1998 Belmont. A nose, for crying out loud.

My biggest disappointment was Secretariat not running at four, understand the reasons but...oh, what might have been!

Candy Ride retiring after only one race in America. That was one monster performance in PC at Del Mar. Passed Megdalio D'Oro as if he was standing still.
