A rare sight

i've wanted a greyhound since i was about 12 years old. it's the only dog i ever want again.

i worked with a greyhound rescue group when i lived in portland, and the one thing you'll notice is that many of those who rescue these dogs have more than one. they're like pringles

they are without a doubt the nicest dogs i have ever met. when i worked with them we would go to events like equestrian events and about 8 owners would bring their dogs. my job? to take care of the dogs. so while cleaning up poop for 8 hours was job too -- i got to spend 8 hours hanging out with sometimes a dozen greyhounds.

i've enjoyed very few things more in the last few years than i did spending time with those dogs.
