Must have missed my post last week in another thread:

-SD's defense is stout. Pats will be hard pressed to make hay. However, SD and NE play the same 3-4 with speed rushers. So did the now departed NY Jets. Pats will throw a few wrinkles, but Brady will make his plays.

-Sidelines. Belichick vs Schottenheimer. Like asking if you want a blow job or a kick in the balls. The choice is obvious.

Wow, looks like I was close to on point...

You were way off point into predicting how SD would lose. Rivers didn't cost them the game. In fact, he had a good game for a first year starter. Obviously dumb penalties and dropped passes cost the Chargers the game.

The interception then fumble on 4th down was perhaps one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of the NFL playoffs. At that point anyone with an elementary understanding of football knew the game was over.

Congrats on the Pats winning, but they didn't look the least bit impressive and the game was one of the few examples of why parity sometimes isn't a good thing.

On the first series on D, the Chargers dropped a sure interception also which would have led to 3 or 7 points. They made numerous errors and did not deserve to win even though they were the better team imo.
