Entertaining article from Salon.com on films their staff of movie critics are asking Oscar not to forget. Reminded me of how I rather enjoyed "Friends With Money." And probably the closest Jack Black will get to a nom this year (for Best Song)... by the way, they agree with you about Mirren.

Girl! The best oscar site is www.theenvelope.com as well as www.oscarwatch.com The articles and blogs are great but the forums are VERY interesting. I never actually signed up, but I lurk and read the posts almost every day...

I havent seen "Friend With Money". This has been an extremely busy year for me so I skipped a lot of the smaller movies I normally would have made a point to see.

Did you happen to catch "Sherrybaby"?

I didn't even realize "Sherrybaby" was out. Maybe I'll Netflix it (which is how I got around to "Friends With Money").
