Actually, he sticks pretty solidly to his conservative beliefs. The flip-flopper is Bush-- against Homeland Security, and then for it. Against increasing troops, and then for it. What else is a real conservative to do than eventually say, "Bush is no conservative?" In a way, I've felt kind of bad for the guy (Sullivan, not Bush)- I've read his blog for a few years now and it's been interesting, watching him let go of his support for Bush. (I think it was Abu Ghraib and habeus corpus that finally convinced Sullivan that Bush wasn't fit to be President.)

i came out as a leftist libertarian too, but very close to the center of the graph -- somewhere between Pope Benedict and Nelson Mandella.

While these things are obviously not definitive, I always find it interesting that I tend to "believe" closer to the center than I speak. I think I'm more socially "liberal" but more economically and governmentally conservative.

Except I thought there were questions where although I thought something was the moral or ethical choice, I DIDN'T think enforcing it was the gov't's job. I'll have to look at the quiz again.
