The quirks of parimutuel wagering never fail to amaze and amuse me. In today's ROI, I played a pick 3 that ended with Soverignty in race 13. In each of the 3 races, the post time favorite won, and the pick 3 paid $7.20 for $1. Reflecting how many players were finding lots of ways to bet on Soverignty other than just the straight win, the double of the previous 2 races that were part of this pick 3 paid $8.60 for $1. Go figure.
