![]() It's a shame that our points contest has lost 2 races (#2 and #13) due to scratches with only 4 runners. Should still have plenty of competitive races. Here goes:
R1: 6-2-9-4-7 R2: 2-3-4-1 (but only 4 runners) R3: 2-1-8-3-6 R4: 2-3-9-1-6 R5: 7-3-5-2-12 R6: 1-4-5-2-7 R7: 1-5-8-9-6 R8: 6-10-4-2-7 R9: 2-1-5-7-3 R10: 5-4-14-8-6 R11: 5-4-7-3-1 R12: 2-1-8-4-9 R13: 2-4-5-7 (but only 4 runners) R14: 4-9-3-1-8 Good luck to all and thank you to Digger for scoring. |

![]() I say count them. Maybe Don can over rule the rule.

![]() Digger, I think we should follow our longstanding rule that races with fewer than 5 horses don't count for the points contest (of course, they may still be used for ROI). It is possible that some of our players have relied on this rule and did not go back to modify their picks when races 2 and 13 were scratched down to fields of 4. Those players might have played differently. If we want to discuss a change of that rule for future contests, that should be a fair conversation, but I disagree with making a rule change after contestants have made their posts and the picks are locked.
