![]() I've always been a sucker for those all stakes pick somethings that have a "guaranteed pool." Usually the actual pool exceeds the track guarantee and makes it moot.
My other sin is to try too hard to "have it", and dilute my ROI by using too many picks rather than making the tough decisions and excluding horses that I really don't like very much but who "might" be able to win. That can lead to hitting the pick something but getting a payoff that can be paltry or even less than the wagered amount. With the late pick 5 becoming what is in reality a pick 4, that could be the case today, but once a sucker, always a sucker. ![]() Here goes: Race 10 $1 pick 5: 4,5,10,14 / 3,4,5,7 / 1,2,8 / 2 / 4,9 ($96) Good luck to all and thank you to Real Quiet for scoring this marathon. |

![]() I hope we both hit it Digger. I'll be rooting for that to happen; I'm relatively confident with the single in the Rachel Alexandra. It's the two-deep in the Risen Star that could be a bit shaky, but you have to take a stand somewhere and bet based on your opinion.
