Ruff, you are asking for opinions, but it is still ultimately your call to make as the points winner. Either Belmont or Keeneland would be an equally good choice.

The most interesting race on either card to me is the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland. While there is only 1 Grade 1 winner in the field, many have won other graded stakes in the US and Canada or Group races in Europe. All 10 bring credentials that would make them competitive.

Ok here are a couple of things that may or may not help you in making your decision. There is little time differential in Keeneland and Belmont at the Big A. Belmont starts at 12:10 ET. Keeneland starts at 1:00 ET. Keeneland has 10 races. Belmont has 11. I know that you seem to have a preference for Maiden races. There are 3 at Belmont and 4 at Keeneland. The first one at Belmont is in Race 5 and the first one at Keeneland is in Race 2.

I am thinking that whichever track you pick will be acceptable to most or all of us or maybe a compromise might be acceptable to the score keepers where we add a race like the QEII from Keeneland to the Belmont card. After all, we played 3 tracks last week and the sky refused to fall.

I myself prefer one track except for special circumstances and this doesn't look like one. Personally I wouldn't play the QEII.

The QEII appears to me to be what a seminar host once called a "great betting race." When pressed for an explanation, he suggested that he didn't have the foggiest idea how the race would turn out, but that it was so wide open that if you were fortunate to find the winner(s), you would be generously rewarded for your bets.

I really wish we could post the venue a little earlier. Entries have been out since at least yesterday and both tracks have earlier post times. As for the QE II, if there is a foreign starter in the field I’m clueless as to how good they are. It’s also why some BC races don’t appeal to me. Nice to watch but I don’t pick them.
