As someone who is interested in getting a fair return on my investment, I hope that every state follows Kentucky's lead. The elimination of breakage simply means that bettors get a slightly better payoff on successful wagers and the tracks will pocket less. It may be only a few pennies per $2 bet, but over the course of a year that can add up.

I'd be glad to put up with a few bookkeeping headaches for that.
