![]() Ruff, our fearless leader is talking about something completely different than the ROI. He once called this extra activity "capping the 'cappers". The goal is to use the $100 bankroll to wager on which of the Gallivan contestants will win.
I recall this because in previous years Don had asked me to become a sort of tote machine and compute the actual odds and will pays from those bets. It was always interesting to see how those coincided with the ML that he would create. Does any of this bring back fond memories for you? By the way, only 3 days, 21 hours and 54 minutes to go. But, who's counting? Draw for post positions and final entries announced this evening. |

![]() Yes JB, it is Capping The Cappers, my tired brain lately was unable to recall that. And please do the final odds after the bets are wagered on Capping The Cappers. And JB I have many "fond" memories of our Colorado Kitten and hope to some time to come. I know she won't let us down. We all loves ya Ruff, even though you can be a PIN sometimes.

![]() Belmont Stakes (G1) and Travers Stakes (G1) winner Arcangelo will be scratched from Nov. 4 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) at Santa Anita Park due to a left hind foot setback, trainer Jena Antonucci said Oct. 31.
Owner Jon Ebbert of Blue Rose Farm told Daily Racing Form's David Grening that Arcangelo would be retired from racing and head to stud next year at Lane's End Farm—though Antonucci only characterized that as the likely development pending further evaluation of the colt. |
