That was a close finish in race 11. I needed #7 Nyxed to sustain his late drive for my pick 5. Unfortunately, he didn't have quite enough oomph to get his head in front of the winner, #10 Catskill Humor, who had made a strong closing move to win. I think that I would have needed to go much deeper to have included #10 on my ticket. Even #7 was a bit of a stretch, but I thought made some sense to round out the ticket at a decent price.

Good try any way Joly. I don’t think any of us did very well. You came closer than most of us. Now it’s on to the grueling task of handicapping a dozen or so Breeder’s Cup races. Here’s hoping we find some better plays than we did today.
