| Well JB with only 16 combinations I should be able to handle it. However if there are late scratches my head might explode. Ditto to Indian Hemp.

| If IH is as astute as he was last weekend, it might be your abacus that could explode. Hope he hits his pick 5 again. With the Grand Slam, I keep hoping that I'll be able to hit it multiple times (assuming the pick in the final leg comes in). |

If you can find an upset horse during the Saratoga meet, and there will be many, you will be rewarded handsomely . . . the Mecca of upsets and the grave yard of Champions.

| Not to mention IH getting beat by a nose in race 4. 4 for 5 in the early pick 5 with his pick of a $48 horse in race 3. And then there is seconditis Ruff who was a nose short in race 3. Saratoga isn't called the Graveyard of Champions for nothing . As for me, I lose easily and without the pressure of photo finishes.

| Truly amazing what can happen sometimes. Assmussen was probably counting his money in the 2 year old race. His horse beat the winner in their prior race by 10 lengths. Can't handicap for stuff like that. What looked like a single in both Pick 5s got beat. Not sure what the late one paid, but the early one was about 6k I think. |

| I was already counting the number of ways I would be collecting on my Grand Slam play (it came to 8 combinations and a $6 ticket for 48 times the $1 payoff) if Gold Sweep romped home at 2-5. On paper he couldn't lose. Then the gate opened, and Gold Sweep, who was going to set the pace, broke in a tangle and by the time he got into gear Yo Yo Candy was gone. No matter how appealing a horse looks on paper, there is always the small matter of having to run around the track in order to collect. It's going to be an interesting meet.......... or should I say "fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride."? |

| Late P5 paid 22k. One of those might get me back all the money I've lost over the years, but I doubt it. Probably like more than 2 or 3 times that. |
