Well another stupid mistake on my part for the ROI. The trials and tribulations of DonGuido . . .
My sheet says: Race 5 $33 tri 3-5-4 . . . . but I entered the wager for Race 3, why, who the hell knows except there's just too much real life intereferring with the game I guess!? And if I would have Entered the straight Tri properly for Race 5 it would have paid $475.20 . . . woulda-coulda-shoulda Oh well, we'll see how I can screw up with the Belmont contest.

I can only remember hitting a cold tri one time and that was in 2009 when Rachel Alexandra beat Mine That Bird and Musket Man in the Preakness. My shoulda was I only bet it for a dollar. Still, it paid $108.10. I made some more likely bets on the race and had a dollar left over so decided to throw it on the tri with no notion that it would actually hit. It won and my other bets were losers. |
