![]() Let's start the Preakness recap this way. Zippy posted last week, "Thanks for scoring Pete
....try to get some more for you to do on Preakness Day!!!". Now I don't know what Zippy has against me but his words sure made me work harder this week than I ever have. 11 bets were cashed. It was almost a clean sweep with everyone cashing a ticket except for Cruzan and he just missed by a neck. Cal won both of his pick 3's and missed profitability. Joly B, Zippy and myself all showed a profit but missed the points board. Indian Hemp takes the super spot with a $100 win bet on National Treasure. Ruffian gets the show spot with a win bet in race 9 on Cheetera who paid $34. It's rare that Ruff picks a big price horse and doesn't win but she ran into two buzzsaws at the mutuel window. Digger put $200 on National Treasure and returned to the barn $580 to the good. Normally that's a win but DonGuido has other ideas. DG played a $33 trifecta and got almost $800 back which gave him the win. Nicely played Don and a nice call on your National Treasure key. Following are the unofficial results pending any errors on my part of which I make my fair share. Let me know if you spot one and if not I'll see you next week at the post of the point winners choice. WIN... DonGuido... +$600.60... R 13: $33 tri 1 / 7 / 3 $24.20 X 33... $798.60 PLACE... ![]() As you said RQ, sometimes you get chicken and sometimes you get feathers, It's about time I got some chicken . . . I was getting pretty hungry. The DG forum contest plate has been pretty empty this year . . . so far!?

![]() I think that was the horse racing equivalent of "all in" in the game of Texas Hold 'em by several of our players. Poetic justice that it was a Texas player that came out on top. Very well played.

![]() Personally, my vision is so dim, I couldn't find my toolbox. I think Obi-Don-Kenobi used his light saber to find his.
