![]() Over your heads, the both of you. The point is what kind of deterrent is it when (i) all he gets is 10 days for the one time he's caught, and (ii) the horses can still run. It's a slap on the wrist to him and a slap in the face of horseplayers.

![]() Steve was touching on this early today (I didn’t catch the entire show) but there needs to be a distinction between therapeutic medication overages (TMOs - copyright Steve Byk) and banned substances. If it’s a positive test for a TMO, the penalty should be significantly less than for a banned substance.

![]() Picogate? Have a heart...This **** is so stupid. TAP doesn't even use this stuff? Was it detected in the horse's blood twice? Yes! how did a minuscule amount find its way into the horse? Who knows? What do you want to do? Fine the guy 250k for what he doesn't even administer the stuff. Do you want to ban all therapeutic drugs? How the heck will the horses heal? Do you want them in pain after they twitch an ankle or get kicked in a race, or have a quarter crack? They get hurt like all athletes. Do you think Spieth didn't get a shot of cortisone or some other antiinflammatory med?

You seem to think the 10 days isn’t enough. So for the third time now, what is a fair punishment for a small overage of bute in your opinion? |
