Don Guido, I know that the track choice is one of our mandatories this week, but have you given any thought to which races should be on our race card?
Churchill Downs has a very full card for Derby Day. They commence at 10:30 AM and don't finish until 8:30 PM. The 14 race card suggests numerous trips to the ATM during the course of the afternoon. I wonder whether something less than the full card might be welcomed by many of our players and by our scorers. The final two races appear to be designed mostly to keep some fans at the track while the vast majority head for the exits after the trophy for the Derby has been presented. Alternatively, some might be less than enthused about the first couple of races. Fortunately, the stakes races on the undercard are as good as you will find anywhere. Could you please give us some guidance so we may sharpen our pencils as get to work on what should be a great day of racing.
