Candy Ride ran down Special Ring on the grass in his race prior to the Pacific Classic. All Special Ring did after that was break the track record for 9 furlongs on turf at Del Mar in the Eddie Read in his next start.
But I'm supposed to believe Country Grammer is a serious horse because he ran in huge money purse races. GTFOH
