Thank you all for the kind words. Mostly a matter of the blind squirrel finding the acorn.

This weekend provides an abundance of superb races. With the BC only a month away, there are by my count 14 "win and you're in" BC qualifiers in North America this weekend, 3 on Friday, 7 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. That is in addition to the EP Taylor Day at Woodbine and even the slots enhanced Breeders Classic races for West Virginia breds at Charles Town. All in all, it portends to be horseplayers' heaven.

The choice of venue for Saturday will be an abundance of riches, but at this moment I'm leaning heavily toward Keeneland. The opening weekend of their Fall Meeting always has superb races and very full fields. I'd like to take a look at the various cards once entries are posted, but will post the choice of venue either late this evening or first thing tomorrow morning.
