The scratch of Pequa from the Saranac means that Saratoga's Race 4 has only 4 runners and won't count for our points contest. Not a great loss since just about everyone would have picked Annapolis on top as the most likely winner of the day. The only unfortunate aspect is that it still constitutes our deadline for entries and is earlier than when the Del Mar scratches become available. If so many players hadn't already posted I'd suggest moving our entry deadline for the points contest until the first post of a race that actually counts, namely the Flower Bowl.
