Man o’ War is always included also. I just wonder what the perception would be of Easy Goer if there had not been a Sunday Silence around? He would have won the Triple Crown, preceded by the Wood, then won the Travers, Whitney, Woodward, JCGC, and BC Classic. This would have included the second fastest Belmont in history and the fastest mile ever by a 3yo. All of this on top of being the champion 2yo. I believe it would be almost impossible for him to rank lower than top five.
Without a doubt. Back in the day when Easy Goer ran, I never appreciated how great he was. Since I was a Bid fan. I did not think or want anyone to be better than the Bid. But looking back Easy Goer was one of the ones, just like the Bid. I saw them both run. Heck I even have the original racing forms for most of their careers.. true Champions

Without Sunday Silence, the complexion of the 1989 BC Classic would have changed completely.

Blushing John arguably could have got the jump on Easy Goer and beat him to the line.

On a side note, Flying Continental would have possibly been CA-bred of the Year both as a 3yo and a 4yo without Sunday Silence around.
