Steve, not sure what kind of computer you use but I had this happen with my MacBook Pro recently. I bought a wireless keyboard for like $20 and disabled the internal keyboard. No more issues. It’s a bit of a pain but it has resolved the issue until I suck it up and just buy a new computer.

Gotcha. Maybe a software issue then. Mine was definitely a hardware issue.
