Hoping we can have a real conversation since people seem to want to. Should be able to as long as the corn rowed moron stays out of it.

As bad as what happened the other day was….and it was bad. How is this NYRA’s fault? The tractor malfunctioned. They were concerned about not getting the gate off in time. It’s an accident. Aside from doing what they were supposed to do which is to declare it a no contest what can NYRA do?

This has nothing to do with that.

They made it a no contest as they should. No one should have a beef. They all stopped riding. Not NYRA’s fault. It happens.

At what point do we blame those in charge for hiring Inept people? At what point do accident's become because those in charge hire inept people?

The tractor that is supposed to take the gate off wasn’t starting. I’m not sure who you want to blame for that.

Has your car ever had a dead battery? If so…are you an inept driver? Of course not. Sh.it happens with machines.

That they have not refunded the bets yet is bulkshit. That they didn’t say that anything that started on the 7th was a refund should have been stated right away, not after the 8 th.

I work in an industry where people die if mistakes are made. In NO CASE would someone die because a battery died in a machine. No how, no way. The fact that they don't check batteries is a miss that shouldn't happen. Comparing it to a laymen not checking his car battery is way beyond someone of your intelligence to throw out there.

My point, which should have been obvious to someone with your intelligence, is you can’t always predict when your battery is going to die. Sh.it happens.

Protocols are in place. They were followed and disaster was avoided because of said protocols.

Who would you like fired?

Million to 1 that would happen in my industry and it would be a battery failure. I don't want anyone fired but let's start looking at the history of failure at NYRA and decide instead of making excuses each and every time. Someone of your intelligence would have to agree.
