DRF already showing numerous scratches at Monmouth, I guess in anticipation of the rain. Belmont probably the better pick, but Churchill is also an option, but there may be a prediction of rain there too. I don't know about that.

Scattered thunderstorms could also mean that they will be scattered through the NYC area but not necessarily over Belmont Park. The Belmont turf courses are fairly good at absorbing water, so a rain shower won't always lead to an off the turf situation. Then again, I'm an incorrigible optimist.
Anyway, pick the venue you like and we'll play it. Aren't we handicappers supposed to be flexible enough to cope with any situation that might arise?
