Default ROI Results 2/26 @ Oaklawn

Oaklawn on Saturday featured some exciting unpredictible predictible racing. As a group
we cashed 7 tickets and 3 of our players showed a profit. Un Ojo probably stamped his ticket to
the Kentucky Derby by winning the Rebel and paying $152.80 to his backers. As the prices
were flashed I immediately checked Ruffians wagers and was in shock and awe when I saw
she didn't have him. One of our other players did. Digger gets third place with a straight win
bet on Secret Oath and predictibly she won impressively. Zippy takes second place and
continues to cash tickets. This week he had a nice pick 3 which paid a stellar $188.70 and
followed it up with an exacta later in the card. The winner of Oaklawn steamrolled the field
on Saturday and just about swept his wagers cashing nice tickets in the races he played.
NJ Stinks was this weeks winner and his total set a new high for the season. He also has
the second and fifth best scoring days this year. Starting with race 9 NJS played a $30 win
bet on Santos Dumont which returned $9 for each deuce and a $135 total. Santos Dumont
was originally 12-1 on the morning line. He then added a $13 daily double which paid
$187.20 That was enough to win but NJ Stinks pounded the field with a $3 daily double
and when Un Ojo cruised up the rail to win the Rebel NJS added another $765 to his total.
That is win # 4 on the year for NJS and ties him with Don Guido. 3 weeks ago Don was
loose on the lead and now NJ Stinks is the top dog and a new target (or a speck in the
distance for some of us). Congrats on the win Gregg. Nicely played. Following are the
unofficial results. Eyeball them and see if Un Ojo has a better sight line than your scorer.
See you all next week as we continue onward toward the Derby and the Triple Crown.

It's true that I was upset when Santos Dumont went off at 7-2 but after the Rebel I was thanking my lucky stars! I was also upset for just playing Santos Dumont in Daily Doubles and nothing on his nose to win in my ADW.

But I still owe this Contest a debt of gratitude this week. I was stuck almost 300 when Santos Dumont won the 9th at Oaklawn. After the Rebel I was up over a 100. (Only had the 10th race/Rebel Daily Double for a buck because I was almost broke heading into Race 10 in my ADW.)

Anyway, the point is no Contest here and I'm not saving anything in my 4NJbets account for the 9th at Oaklawn!
