Thanks very much my friends. I was amazed just how formful/chalky the later stakes races were. I suspect that there were a number of bettors who played a broad ticket on the pick 4/5/6, managed to successfully hit it yet ended up with a payoff that was less than their wager. I was tempted to try one of those and am glad I didn't. This can be a difficult game to beat.
