Years ago I was a Member of a Private Turf Club
Every Saturday I would bet on five tracks all day long
but that was then and this is now

so I rarely bet real time money except on the Triple Crown
if there’s a horse I love who is better than 12 / 1 odds

I am Paying off a $10,000 VET Bill
After my Precious Pomeranian had Gall Bladder Surgery
She DIED 4 days After coming home
Leaving me with a broken heart and a gigantic Vet bill

So I don’t have money to spare to bet on horses
But that doesn’t diminish my love of picking winners
