Always difficult when conditions are marginal to guess what will happen to future turf races. As of now, both races 3 and 6 are off of the turf. Clearly, the QEII will remain on the turf no matter what [Grade 1 turf races simply don't get moved to the main track short of a monsoon]. But, the status of race 10 remains a puzzle to me. It is still listed for the turf and the two MTO's have been scratched, which is encouraging. But it is the sort of race that could still be moved to the main track later in the day if the turf doesn't dry out, rendering my selections even worse that they normally are. One of the many hazards of making picks at noon for a race that will be run 6 hours later.
