Did I happen to mention that I really like War Like Goddess?
 I probably spread too wide a net in my trifecta array in the Flower Bowl, but just didn't know what to make of #2 American Bridge. She clearly would have no trouble getting the distance, but I was flummoxed over what sort of class she would have off of a number of good races in France and a Group 3 win in Milan. What sort of competition was there? So, I wasted 2 smaller tickets on a "just in case she is good enough to get a piece of this" basis and cut into my profits because of this. I tend to do this with exotics out of a desire to "have the tri" rather than just take a strong stand. Still had the tri for $10, but my net return was about what I would have gotten by simply putting a straight $100 win bet of WLG.
