Too bad about Whitmore. Hope it's only a "time to retire" type injury.

I believe that I heard that Whitmore suffered a suspensory injury that was NOT life threatening. He was one cool racehorse, always gave his very best even though he could be a handfull.

Most owners and trainers would love to have a Whitmore. He's due horse racing respect for sure.

So what do y'all think about a thread like this for some of our bigger days, . . . not for every card. No negativity or harsh complaining allowed after all it's called "Gentle Musings".

Count me in. I enjoy BS'ing about the racing card as it progresses. Makes it much more enjoyable.
