This is a half-brother to three stakes horses, including Horse of the Year and Hall of Famer Rachel Alexandra. She is by Medaglia d’Oro, the sire of multiple Grade 1 winner and first-crop stallion Bolt d’Oro.

Hip No. 148, filly by Army Mule – Melody Lady, by Unbridled’s Song. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales, agent.

Grade 1 winner Army Mule has made a strong start commercially with his first crop. Stakes winner Melody Lady, out of Grade 1 winner Lady Tak, is the dam of Grade 1 winner Volatile and stakes winner Buy Sell Hold. This is the extended family of standouts Bald Eagle and Exceller, as well as additional Grade/Group 1 winners River Memories and Sakhee.

Hip No. 151, filly by Into Mischief – Miss Hollywood, by Malibu Moon. Consigned by Summerfield, agent.

Two-time reigning leading sire Into Mischief comes into this yearling sales season with his first crop conceived on a $150,000 fee and has already made an impact in the sales ring. He sired three of the top four prices at Fasig-Tipton July, including an $800,000 filly who was the sale’s second-highest price of the last decade. Stakes winner Miss Hollywood, out of Grade 1 winner Hollywood Story, is a half-sister and bred on the same cross, to Grade 1 winner Honor A. P.

Hip No. 155, Roadlesstraveled, filly by Quality Road – More Hennessy, by Hennessy. Consigned by Lane’s End, agent.

Elite sire Quality Road is represented here by a full brother to Hootenanny, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf; he also was a winner at the renowned Royal Ascot meeting and was Group 1-placed in France. More Hennessy is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Cat Moves, and Grade 1 winners Ascend, Dance Teacher, and Roadster appear on this catalog page.

Hip No. 160, filly by Quality Road – Above Perfection, by In Excess. Consigned by Indian Creek, agent.

Grade 3 winner Above Perfection, who also was Grade 1-placed, is the dam of Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming, Grade 1 winner Hot Dixie Chick, and Grade 2 winner Positive Spirit. Hot Dixie Chick is the dam of Grade 3 winner Pauline’s Pearl and stakes winner Union Jackson, possibly raising interest in this filly’s residual value as a broodmare.

Hip No. 166, colt by Curlin – Often, by Galileo. Consigned by Lane’s End, agent.

Consistent classic sire Curlin sired the co-sale-toppers at the most recent edition of this sale, in 2019. Often is out of Grade 2 winner Mariah’s Storm, making her a half-sister to European Horse of the Year and three-time leading sire Giant’s Causeway, as well as to Group 2 winner and multiple classic producer You’resothrilling; Group 2-placed Tumblebrutus and Freud, the latter a leading sire in New York; and to the dams of Group 1 winner Decorated Knight and Group 2 winner Storm the Stars. She also is a full sister to Group 3 placed Butterflies and Hanky Panky.

Hip No. 168, colt by Into Mischief – Paola Queen, by Flatter. Consigned by Gainesway, agent.

By the leading sire, this is the second foal out of a Grade 1 winner.

Stakes winner Swingit is the dam of multiple Grade 2 winner Travel Column and multiple Grade 1-placed Neolithic.
