![]() The neighbor's horse would do figure 8s whenever I came out with apples. The poor thing foundered and had to be put down. The mare acts like she could care less what I do. If I got apples she shows up. If I don't she don't. Doesn't like to be petted or scratched.. Just likes to eat. I don't know why I bother but she let me know which way my dog ran off to (she didn't actually tell me I just figured it out by watching her watch my dog) so... I giver her apples. Granny Smiths are her favorite.
Are those peppermints you get at Farm -n- Fleet ok for horses?

![]() mints are good as long as you don't feed a ton of them...just like candy for yourself, not the best everday. my horse loves candy canes...I always buy a bunch after x-mas when they are trying to get rid of them and put them in the freezer for later
