"Hieronymo's mad againe." [from T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land]
Two weeks ago I attempted a pick 4 in the ROI and hit 3 out of 4. Last week I tried the pick 5 at Laurel but only managed to get 4 out of 5 with a backup ticket. So, what could make less sense than to take a shot at the Rainbow 6 today? I know that our ROI bankroll is really too small to attack a pick 6 in the proper fashion. About all a $100 wager allows [for a $.20 bet] is a single ticket that covers 2x2x2x3x4x5 or some sequence like that. No chance of multiple tickets with A and B selections which allows broader coverage in spread races. There are many reasons not to try this bet. But I plan to take a shot anyway. That's the beauty of our ROI - a chance to try a type of bet and see how it works out and perhaps learn something in the process. Race 9 $0.20 Rainbow Pick 6 "A" Ticket 4,5 / 2,4,8,9 / 2,6,7 / 3,5 / 2,3,4,6,9 / 1,8 [$96] "B" Ticket 4 / 2,8 / 2,6 / 3 / 2,3,4,6,9 / 4 [$4] Best of luck to all and my apologies to Real Quiet.
