I thought Maxfield ran ok. I wasn't as impressed as I was in some of his earlier races. Didn't like the way he ran down the lane. They've got six months to get him tightened up for his next race.

My guess is he was a little short for the race and the lack of pace had him closer than he normally is. I’m with you that I wasnt blown away but at the same time thought it was a solid comeback. He won’t have to improve much to be a major player in that division though.

That much is true. He may not have to improve at all.
