I like Mystic Guide here but not at 8/5. I actually think Modernist could come back strong as that LA Derby came back pretty good...but I won’t jinx either of them by betting them.

Almost as good as winning. I guess Modernist is just not that good, which is what I thought after the Risen Star...but started to buy in after the LA Derby horses came back solid.

The horse was lucky to win because she sat an absolutely perfect trip and won the bob. She was probably 3rd or 4th best in there when you factor in trips.
