The first race for juveniles - my general rule for Wesley Ward horses are if the ground is quick, they are live, if its soft, they may struggle. If we get the rain that is expected, it is likely to be on the soft side of good and so it may pay to look around, particularly in the US.

The US bets into the superpool totes hosted by Hong Kong. The average win pool yesterday was around US$900k, so this will probably have less of an effect compared to years gone by.
For what it's worth, at the price I'll go with #18 Yazaman in this race. Won in a small field but showed the turn of foot needed in a race like this: last 2f in 21.91. I also like #14 Tactical, as well as #5 Get It. Both come out of the same race that was run in course record time, and the winner is the early fav in a G2 on Friday. Also interested in #10 Selected at 100-1. Debut race probably wasn't the strongest, but he took action that day and will probably be more suited to the turf (half brother was 2nd in this very race in 2017).
